A DAY AT MUSEUM .......

Alrite, We went to the National Museum of Singapore today. We spent like a good 5 hrs there. Wat can i say ?? It a fruitful trip. I enjoy myself a lot expect all thoso noisy kids that was screaming and running around. I had to get them to shut up or start at them hard. I almost kill them with my stare .

The Museum had just upgrade recently. It very cool looking now .. and funky is the one i should used. It a blend of old and new together. Can u imagine.. they just had a New year countdown party here on the 30st of dec 06??

We are going up ..up .. up ..... It was quite and peaceful at this times .... Love the whole feeling of the Museum.

Below here is a small cafe and a Museum shop by Banyan tree. Yes, u are able to shop at the Museum. Do check out this shop when u there. They sell very cool stuff.

Saw some red chandeliars hanging above the bridge between the old and new building. I thought they look beautiful. I love chandeliars. It a art .. saw the swinging while on my way to the next building.

Check out the Art on the floor by Kurt Wenner. Was quite dissappointed with it. They should remove the barriers around the art work. I find it too distracting.

This is the original railing of the National Museum of Singapore. Originally the museum was built in 1887 by Colonel Sir H.E. Mc Callum, it was reopened last month after a major renovation and expansion of the building

The Singapore Merlion. They even install a story for it. It was funny.......

Ok, I m walking down the long long road to the Singapore life Museum loh. It very cool leh. They give u a Pda. U just have to put on the ear piece and follow the instruction in it. Each time u get to a location .. just key in the mumber u saw on the floor and u will get all the info u need. Cool ..........

My " D yy " walking in front of me ... Love that round head .. so cute ...

Ok .. U see .. Told u can shop at the Museum. We brought this cute little Singa tee. I remember that it was during the 80"s that this lion came out to promo courtesy loh .....

The last part of the Museum was the Maria Theresia exhibition .She is the first and only female empress of the Habsburg dynasty, due to the absence of a male heir to the throne during the reign of her father Karl VI. This exhibition explore the intricacies and complexities faced by a women monarch and her ingenuity in tacking the challenges at a time where such vocations were considered 2 be a purely male dominated entity.
