This may not be as glam as Moulin Rouge, Chicago or even Dreamgirls, and yet who knows our getai also can be so campy... and so fun??!!!! it's so colorful, so hilarious and so full of life.. and sooo sisterhood!!!!Plenty of hokkien songs are played here and i believe many of them are their hits. Although i'm not familiar with the songs, i must say some are quite good and touching...

Apart from the Papaya Sisters and the Durian Sisters, my other favourite group in the movie is the HIV.

My hokkien is just half-past six. Besides, i never liked getai and never went to watch it. In fact, i found it vulgar and hoarse... noisy bunch of people singing those old cheeena songs with all those freaking ugly costumes .. Worse, it like a place for cheena beng and lian one. Yuck !!!

This is definitely one of the best local movies that was ever made. it's so hilarious tat i almost got choked by my peanuts and drinks ...... Enjoy !!!!
